Contacted the owner of the Delmont Sawmill and send a picture via email of the wood work I wanted to do. Discussed the purpose of the wood work and received the advise to use Oak for strength and weight. The Delmont Sawmill sawed the lumber to specification from the drawing and had it ready for pickup faster than expected.
The man at this saw mill owns it and will cut any type of wood, no matter how big or small. Very friendly.
